A one-day community event focused on supporting women veterans, especially those from minority and LGBTQIA+ communities. “Stand Down” events are typically designed to provide essential services in one place—including healthcare access, housing support, employment resources, and community connection for veterans. This specific event highlights inclusion and support, aiming to create a safe, resource-rich environment for women veterans.
Michigan Women Veterans Conference 2026 (Bay City)
Join women veterans from across Michigan for three inspiring days of connection, growth, wellness, and empowerment on the beautiful waterfront in Bay City. Hosted by the Michigan Veterans Affairs Agency, the Michigan Women Veterans Conference is designed exclusively for women who have served. Whether you separated from the military decades ago or recently transitioned from service, you’ll find a welcoming community of women who understand your journey.
Skyline After Dark
An upscale black-tie fashion and networking experience held on the 30th floor of the Centre Club overlooking downtown San Antonio. The evening features a high-fashion runway show, cocktail hour, live music, casino-style tables using house chips, and an after-hours social. The event is presented by veteran-owned A3 Productions, and the runway will feature an all-Veteran model lineup. The event also supports Hero Hut, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting its work supporting the Veteran community.
